I just ran a quick search for sidemarker and came back with 30 results. Here's one I posted in.

you can put it anywhere you want, but you should put it in between the fender well and the door trim ( just on top of the side molding trim). you will need a hole drill bit for a clean cut.
ya thats what i was thinking just putting them anywhere in between! i got my sidemarkers from passwordjdm mang....
``aboout the poll.....lol....how the hell you write up a post without those polls showing up on your post? so i just write somethings in the polls....i dont know.

Eh that's just a touch too far back. The front-most point on the sidemarker should line up vertically with the end of the bodyline crease in the fender below it. See my pic in the post I linked above.

DEFINITELY use OEM Stanley sidemarkers. I used to have imitation OEM ones (the ones that say SONAR on them) and they fit like ****. They required the same rectangular hole and had the same metal clip on the back of the sidemarkers, but for some reason they would not sit flush with the fender. Finally I spent $35 on a pair of OEM EG/DC sidemarkers from inlinefour.com and they fit perfectly.
As for cutting the hole, I took the diagram I linked in the post above (which is for an EG fender btw), drew out the hole in AutoCAD using the dimensions in millimeters, and printed it out. Then I taped it in the correct spot on the INSIDE of my fender, and scored the lines with an X-acto knife. I drilled a hole and then used a metal nibbler to cut out the shape, which is much MUCH easier, faster, cleaner, and quieter, and more precise than using a Dremel.
