Some of you may have heard I was in an accident and totaled that gorgeus little silver Teg. Cops gave me and another guy the fault, I didn't think I was at fault at all , but after hearing the cops yelling, people accusing, and just plain being terrified, I began to second guess myself. Terrible thing to do. So I get the write up, and minimal penaltys, but penaltys none the less saying "failure to use due conduct". The cop says I hit someone, then someone hit me becuase someone hit them who was also hit. So they write up TWO ACCIDENTS OCCURING AT THE SAME TIME, SAME PLACE. Slim and none odds in other words. So, tonight, the guy I hit calls up and says, "this police report says your at fault", well, yes sir. "you were stopped right behind me" WHAT!!!! I knew it!!! ****** cops, ****** witness, who was, by the way 5 cars behind me, says I ran into the car infront me, BULLSHIT!! Needed to vent.

I get it..The guy the cops say he hit in front of him, was his fault, not the guys. The guy called him today tho, and told hi he was stopped behind him, so he didnt hit him, it was all the other cars that plowed into him. Dude, get that other guy in front of u, and fight this one, seriously!

 

Isn't the dude in the rear responsible for cases like this?

i was in a similar accident myself a few years back. i was #3 out of a 4 car pile up. the fault was given all to the #4 vehicle. got my EG sandwiched between a F250 and ford ranger. but it all worked out for the better, i got myself a GSR from that. good luck with this, hope you get your record cleared.

hrmm, sometimes they will give you partial blame, depending on how fast the rear car was going. You are suppose to be far enough behind the person in front of you, so that you can see the bottom of their tires, that way if someone hits you, you have enough room to stop again......but again, it depends on the speed of the car in the rear......
