problem with NGK Iridium IX!!!
I picked up a set of ngk iridium plug ZRF5IX-11 or # 2477. I work at Pepboys and this is the number listed for my dc4. However after removing one of my old plugs i noticed the 2477 are larger and do not fit in the 5/8 spark socket. No problem I grabbed my larger socket which the new ngk fit right into, but when i went to install the new plugs the socket was to large to fit down through the valve cover to put the new ngk in. I cross referenced online at autozone to make sure this wasn't a pepboys computer flop again the number shown was #2477. I consulted the owners manual of my car it listed the ngk PZFR5F-11. I know thats not the iridium so I assume its likeness the iridium part number means they'd be the same size. Am I just missing something here? how do I get these plugs in?

Check to make sure you really have ZFR5FIX-11 and not another part number. ZFR5FIX-11 and PZFR5F-11 have the same dimensions. The part number will be on the plug. Both are 5/8" hex.
