So I bought an abs plastic mugen lip for my 96 ls and i have a problem fitting it onto my bumper. The fitment seems fine but the side won't strech far enough to wrap around the the fender wells. Has anyone had this problem? any suggestions would be helpful

 

are you shure you bought right one and not the 98-01?

 

ya, it says for 94-97 integra, like I said the fitment is fine, its just not long enough on the sides to wrap around the fender wells

 

you just have to pull it. It's hard to make fit because it's supposed to fit tight. If it just slid right on, chances are it would be a little lose.

I have no idea what lip I have, cause it came on the car when I bought it, but, if I take it off wehnever I put it back on it gives me a little trouble.

Get one side pretty much installed, then pulled the other side of the lip a little bit away from the car, then pull it towards the back of the car super tight. That should help.

 

ya i had the same problem with my 95 integra...i just broke one of the piece off the side of the lip

 

u got to stretch the **** out of it, its a hard plastic, let it sit out on the sun for a bit.

 

so what do you guys like more mugen or itr lip.

i think the mugen looks terrafic, but the itr is still pretty hot.

 

I have OEM ITR, with whole OEM Optional kit... I would take that over any lip or kit. However the mugen is nice!!!

 

anybody have picture of 94-97 integ with a mugen lip?
