i got pulled on by an LS in my RS integra. i was wondering wtf for the longest time. then i checked my oil level, and my underinflated tires. ran that oil for a good 14,000 miles too.
either that or there's something ur buddy's not telling u :D

my milage never went down, that's why i didn't change it out. short on cash this time of the year. bought a supertech filter and quakerstate peak performance oil.

Mileage doesn't matter. Change your oil every 3-4k miles at most.
