Default Problem !!? dc2

i have and 01 ls integra.. well i have the basic mods u can think out on a car.. intake header full piping exhaust also nology and ground kit wires. stage 1 clutch and short shifter !

But anyway my friend has an 93 integra .. same bolt on that i have .. on a 40 roll he beats my car .. and on a dead stop i take him for a few seconds then he starts pulling away from me .. any ideas what can be the problem!!

01 ls is a dc4, dc2 is a gsr. Oh and hes probably a better driver.

what? all the other guy was saying is that you have a dc4, not a dc2 like you said in the thread title.

his car might be responding to the mods better than your car. less restriction. could also be the driver.

i ran my old 91 integra against a 93 integra and he had I/H/E while i was pretty stock except a drop and i would pull on him.

it could be a lot of variables.

If he takes him for a while in the launch, I wouldn't quite go with his friend being a better driver.


Lot of other things have to do with it other then your mods, they're not making much anyways.

His could also be in better condition, lighter, or many of other things that change the outcome.

check it out i know the da are lighter then dc.. but yeah he got more miles then i do .. but yeah i only got 80 original miles!! .. We both got fuel presure regulator but got mine set at 50 ... and he wont tell me what he is running on ,, do u think he running more then 50 .. or u guys no a good pressure that i should put my car ?

mileage really doesn't matter. It's internal conditions that matter. It could be anything.

yeah, well i don't sit here asking why my civic DX isn't beating another civic with the same exact setup.

if you woulda clicked the link to my sig you woulda noticed that my civic got stolen shitface , and now i drive a teg ls so how am i being a hypocrite. im just saying that its slow. i know my car is slow.
