powersteering problem...
im having a problem mounting my stock ls ps pump on my build. i got a c5 block and a b16 head. ive tried use the top b16 bracket and the b18 bracket on the bottom. i could mount with that combo of brackets, but i would have to use washers to space the top correctly. if i use both b16 brackets the belt will not line up. anyone ever have this problem? i got both sets of the brackets.

just remove power steering. I did it. granted its harder to park but it just feels like you have better control

i don't want to do that. because ive got a unorthodox pulley set. and im tring to make at least 400hp with all the luxuries. i want to maintain the stock setup.
taking it off isnt in option. but it also has to be super clean!

in this pic you can see the gap between the top mount and the pump

and in that one you can see the top bolt hole doesnt line up. and with this bracket setup it only moves about 1/2 inch for adjustment.
