powersteering help on LSVTEC!!
hey guys. i just bought a new project to work on and been having a little trouble grasping the honda technique.
its a 93 DA with a LSVTEC. its a b18b1 block with a p72-1 head. now the trouble i'm having is the bracket for the p/s pump. i was told that a gsr L-bracket could mount on to the head but i bought one and it doesn't line up correctly. the hole is off by maybe a 1/4 inch?
i just mounted one bolt to bracket to mock it up and now the bolt connecting to the top of the pump is too short and i think i've gotta put some kind of spacer in there to let the pulley line up the p/s pump pulley.
does anyone know anything?!
PLEASE HELPP! I CAN'T STAND DRIVING WITHOUT P/S!!
thanks!

The bracket you bought isn't for a GSR then. That sounds like an LS power steering bracket...
If the bolt holes are perfectly straight across from eachother then it's an LS bracket. The GSR are at a slight angle

i don't remember the bracket being straight or not but i remember the holes on the head being at an angle. all i know is that the holes don't perfectly line up.
if i got a correct p/s bracket, would i line up with the original crank pulley? would it be necessary to get a newer p/s pump and swap out the crank pulleys off a newer year?
thanks!!

right but would the mounts and stuff bolt right up and line up to the crank pulley?
also i read around and i wanted to comfirm, there's only 2 brackets that hold the pump in correct?
