hey im planning to orer 1/0 gauge power cable from weldingsupply.com.. but i dont want to order too much than needed becuz im on a budget. does anyone know how much feet of wiring is needed to reach the amps mounted on my rear seat from the battery? i'm thinking 15 ft. should be enough.. is this more than enough or not enough to work with? if anyone has done a recent install please let me know how much u used on your integ.
How did you get 15 feet? It is a pretty straight shot from the battery through the big firewall hole, along the sideframe, to the rear seats. Just measure that and add 5 for insurance. Isn't welding cable only $2/foot? Make sure to consider where you will be grounding it, and if you have enough cable for that as well.
One warning I have: Welding cable is not quite as flexible as car audio wire. So there is just another reason to want to get a little extra.

When I installed my system last summer, I seem to remember getting about 15 ft. That gave me enough slack to properly hide all the wires, and to have a little extra for the ground.
