power window problem
Hey guys,
I have a problem with my passenger side power window. The problem is i can't open it from the passenger side but i can open it just fine with the master switch on the drivers side.
So that means the motor is working fine. What i did next was replace the passenger side power window switch, thinking that was definitely the problem, but it turns out that didn't help. The fuse is also fine.
Now i've come to the conclusion that the problem is most likely in the wiring between the passenger side switch and the passenger side power window motor. The way i see it is, i should just replace the whole wiring harness for the passenger side door because i can get one at a parts yard for like 10 bucks.
Do you guys think that will solve the problem? And if you have any other ideas as to what it could be please let me know.
This is on a 2 door g3 btw

I too am having a similar problem with the driver's side. The tab on the switch was busted, so I took the switch apart and tried to move the window with just the circuit board. Passanger side rolled down just fine, driver side wouldn't. I don't think the regulator is busted either because it has rolled down a few times. I haven't checked the fuse, I'll have to do that, but it could be the door harness. It's worth a shot to replace that and see. Also, check all your connections. It's possible a plug could be corroded or have a bad connection on a pin. Also, I'm sure there's a way you could jump a few wires to make it roll up or down.
Now this will sound stupid, but are you sure your window lock on the master switch isn't on or perhaps stuck?
