Sup fellow HT integra posters. Quick question. I think my power steering pump just took a **** on me and the pump started squealing and grinding and all sorts of crap so just to get me by for a few days i removed the Powersteering belt. My question is since my car is not a manual steering from the factory will it hurt my car to drive it with just the power steering belt removed at least to get me buy to get a new one.
thanks guys,
Oh and i DID search but the most i could find was removal kits, and pros/cons of keeping it etc. etc. etc. So thanks

No I have seen people drive their PS cars that way for years...As long as there is some fluid in the pump, and rack...you should be fine. Good luck
I don't know for absolute sure, but I don't believe there's a problem with driving like this, mechanically. The only problem, as I understand it, is that it requires more steering effort this way, because you're fighting the fluid in the system. This is why the PS removal kits remove the pump and loop together the lines, so the fluid can flow freely as you turn the wheel.
I think you'll be fine until you replace the pump. Just watch out in parking lots because it might be hard to steer.
