power steering question
i know i can remove the power steering belt to gain some horses and i know this topic has come around on many message boards but has anyone actually found out if removing the fluid and pump then capping off the holes do anything detrimental to the rack. im tempted to remove the belt but if i do so i might as well remove the pump too, right? any insight would help greatly
oh and yes i did do a search and as always it gave me no results. thanks guys

Re: power steering question (delslow94)
You can "retrograde" to a del Sol S manual rack......I did. Works great. It avoids any possible problems with the power rack, and also saves some weight. The only downside is possibly that the steering ratio is a little low (ie, more turning the steering wheel compared to the power rack).
