I have a '98 Acura 2 door, 4 cyl (I think it's L or R). I have a problem I just can't figure out.

I cannot open the driver's side door either with a key or from the inside. It's like the lock mechanism is jammed...you literally cannot force it "back" to open the lock. I get the same resistance when I try with the key. The weird thing is, when I try to use the power door lock to open the locks (including the hatchback and other door, it opens them for a second or 2 and then instantly locks them again. I'm sure it's related in some way to the drivers side lock being jammed. Anybody here ever heard of this problem before?
