Default Possibly be the ABS???

I have this weird sound around 3400 rpms, and it does it every single time Iam in that rpm range in any gear. It was doing it before my motor swap and still does it now. Is it my ABS?

Could you be a bit more specific? I really doubt that it is the ABS.

Is it the heat sheild rattling? Describe the sound. Does it sound like someones holding a playing card to fan blades or what?

Its not a rattling sound, not clicking sound, non of that. Very hard to put a finger on it. It also used to do when i first started my car early in the mourning

Edit: Removed my abs relays and the noise went away. Anyone know how to fix it, because I dont really have time to go thru the trouble of deleting the whole abs system

Edit: Never mind noise came back!

Does the ABS light illuminate when you start the car? If not, replace the bulb.

Well it doesnt, and i can quite remember if the abs light was lit when i have the other cluster. I have removed al the abs fuses/relays from the ABS fuse box, and the noise is still there..

if you removed all those fuses and relays then i really dont think its your abs... ever think of checking suspension, or maybe even something inside your cars vibrating and those rpms, are your motor mounts shot? also might be something inside your trans... also to remove abs system not too hard or long... need 4 lines, master cylinder and brake booster and a 40/40 prop valve did it on my ls and only took couple hours

I really want to remove it!. Where do i get the 4 lines from?. I believe the master cylinder and brake booster have to be from an rs. Does the 40/40 prop valve also come from an rs model?
