Is it possible to have a muffler shop remove the piping from the catback and install custom 2.5" piping with the muffler? Is this possible or just plain retarded

lots of peeps do it but its a lil heavy ( only care if your a weight reduction freek )

 

yeah...people do that all the time.....they do a 2.25 exhuast pipe with a $200 ebay muffler.....but think bout it...custome exhuast may be $100+ with 200 muffler..thats already bout 300+....save that money and buy a quality exhuast.
but back to your question....yes you can do it, take it to midas or mineke...some muffler shop

I figure ill buy the JDM 4-1 Dc sports header and car sound cat, run open cat for alil so i can get it to the shop have em finish it up

Open cat? You do realize how extremely loud your car will be. If there are any cops within 10 miles of where you live I would consider rethinking that decision. Oh yeah it is kinda retarded to customize your already expensive exhaust. I know there's a website that sells mandrel bent piping and it might be cheaper than having a muffler shop do it.

 

Anything is possible if you got the $$$. Yeah its possible.

Yea the exhaust was expensive, I guess ill just go with the comptech/carsound deal
