uphill generally gives the car with more torque advantage.

also, it is possible but if driver isn't a factor...then probably not.

Acceleration (0-60 mph): 5.9 sec.
Braking Distance: 120 ft.
Base Number of Cylinders: 6
Base Engine Size: 3 liters
Base Engine Type: Inline 6
Horsepower: 225 hp
Max Horsepower: 5900 rpm
Torque: 214 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 3500 rpm
Drive Type: RWD
Turning Circle: 34.4 ft.
If driver isnt a factor, then no, its impossible,
if the guy in the GSR drives like god and the beamer owner cant drive for ****, then it is possible

Was it an auto. He would need more mods to kill the 330ci I think.
From Edmunds.
For reference, a manual-transmission '01 BMW 330Ci we tested did 0-to-60 in 5.9 seconds and the quarter in 14.5 seconds at 96.6 mph.

whenever a manufactures lists stats, they are going to be manual for speed since manual is always faster. you usually have to search pretty hard to find auto stats.

I think the auto should be closer in performance to a TL type S.
From consumer guide:
Lively in any form, especially with manual transmission. BMW pegs rear-drive 330s at 7 sec 0-60 mph with automatic, 6.4 with manual. We timed test manual 330xi sedan at 6.8 sec, automatic 325i sedan at 8.1.

the beamer has a v6... which means.. it got torque. the gsr only probably puts out 145+ to the wheels. im sure the beamer puts out close to 200. the gsr has no chance... even if its auto.
