Default Porting IM

I heard one of the best things to do to a naturally aspirated B18A1 was to take off the intake, get a new gasket and trace the holes out, then take a dremmel and grind the excess metal away, and glass bead the whole intake manifold. I was wondering if any of you guys ever heard of this or did this? Honestly, it doesn't sound like a bad idea, I would just want to port the head to match to IM and my brother has a sandblaster at his shop.

no its not a bad idea at all. bascially port matching the IM and the HEAD. Im not sure how well glass bead or sand blasting will do. i guess it depends on the type of media that you use. But personally i woulnd not do it. Some people use a procedure call extrude hone. but i think if you have a grinder with a finner coarse material, should work just fine.
