Poly inserts for the lower torque mounts ???
thats my question, i've read a couple of times that they work with ripped mounts. But I've also heard the opposite, i know that the little mount on the AC side is broken and i think that my firewall mount is bad, would the inserts fix that? and i'm getting confused by this 3 mount thing, so does the 3 mounts do the 3 major mounts as in the to top ones and the firewall or does it do the smaller front ones and the rear?
they basically reinforce your existing mounts, so if your mounts are already torn i would advise replacing the stock mounts and then getting the inserts. IMHO
if they are tearing, you can use them, but if they are broken, buy a used set from the jdm part guys, and then install the bushings.. i got mine yesterday, and ran into a few little problems removing some of the bolts, so currently i cant drive my car
You can use them on a ripped mount. It effectively makes the mount solid by basically filling in the gaps in the stock mount. So even if its totally torn, as long as you have the piece thats torn off, the mounts will still work fine.
For example, if the middle piece of the mount where the bolt goes through is completely seperated, as long as you have it in the middle and put the inserts in, it wont matter if its connected to the rest of the mount. As long as its there to complete the "puzzle" to create a solid mount, youre ok.

I put mine in today, it took a while because i ran into a few problems, but its all ok now. I do notice a bit more vibration, but its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Ever with the AC on, its still fine
