Icon2 Please VTEC help

Ok so hears the deal just picked up a complete gsr swap the other day and now i hve to pull my LS imotor out i cuold probably swap these motor but i didnt know there has to be a VTEC wire ran from the ecu to the engine ? WTF why cant this **** just all bolt up and work what needs to be done to do this swap what wire go where and what else??

"Search" best to research something before you go jumping head first into it. All the info you need to do that motor swap is in this site try the FAQ then do a search. NOOB

dude i don't know why you're stressing over this it's the most simple thing to do all you need is a vtec ecu and if you have a jumper harness then there's a purple,and grey, wire those are you vtec wires hook them up purple goes to the vtec pressure switch signal and grey goes to vtec silinoid and don't forget to run a ground from the pressure switch

Its really not hard just run the 2 wires from the vtec solenoid to ecu and pressure switch to ecu..take like 10-15 mins..just find the pin outs for the ecu.. i think it a4 and d6 pinouts (p72)

i think that's right^^can't remember the pin out for the p28 it's been a while since i had to wire up vtec on a p28

yeah that purple and grey then traced it back to ecu pinout.
