Default Please help.

Can someone help me diagnose the problem with my car. I am having no luck so far. When I first start it up it idles low and wants to stall.. As I'm driving it feels like it's misfiring and struggling hard. As it warms up the rpms shoot to about 2k then drop to about half. I'm burning out out the tailpipe and have a small head gasket leak but it was doing that when I bought it.. I think it is something with the fuel delivery system.. It's a b18a1 out of a 93 integra tossed in a 1991 Honda Civic hatch. Could really use some help. Thanks in advance

I'd fix the gasket. Check for any warping. Then see where that takes you.

Any other leaks? Pull off distributor cap and see if oil is present? Have you done any maintenance?

definitely do that! I would also check the plugs and fuel filter.

Sounds like you need to start with the basics for sure.. Plugs, fuel filter, etc. I am sure the leaking headgasket is going to affect performance as well.

Next time use a better topic title and not just ''please help'' typically these threads get skipped over pretty quickly

ok, so is the civic obd0 or obd1? my 91 integra was obd0 b18a1 and my 92 is 0bd1. You'll want to use the fuel injectors that are stock to the BODY (obd0) to get it to work with that ECU. Other than that will be 4 wire vs 1 wire o2 sensor (obd0 on the manifold, 1 wire). UNLESS the car was wired forwards to OBD1! obd0 uses low impedance injectors with a resistor mounted on the firewall, obd1 uses high impedance injectors. Other than that, the plugs for the distributor are rectangle shaped on obd1, circular on obd0 and the obd1 harness has a temp sensor mounted on the thermostat housing. obd1 also had no oil temp sensor, where obd0 did. I have a set of OBD0 low impedance injectors if you're looking! Bosch, purchased brand new. I think they might have 20 30,000 miles on them. I even think I have the OEM ones, those have 187,000 on them lol.
