does anyone know if i can put a 99 gsr hatch lid/window on a 94 integra RS?

i put it on and all i had to do was switch the horse shoe hinge where it goes into the lock part because the 99 was alot longer than the 94 so the 94 hinge works and i just changed the 2 upper hingeses on the window part and it fits perfect..... and acura said it wouldnt work....... haha
