Yes, but only after you've determined that the new pistons are not going to be too tight (or way too loose) in the bores.
The cylinder walls should also be finish honed to 400 grit (if OEM rings) and plateau honed to provide proper surface finish to allow the new piston rings to properly lap themselves in with the bores.

the walls should have a 60 degree angle honing job on them to allow proper oiling.. i dont think there's a need to use assembly lube, just oil up the walls good so you dont get a dry startup
