are you KIDDING me? LOL, the 4300K Philips kit actually appears the color of a stock bulb , i'm surprised the picture above shows a white output.
haha WRONG! I'm w/ MTK on this one. You know ALL those different cars w/ factory HID? They ALL use 4300K capsules. The difference is in the optics. If you want the "blue" look of other cars, at least swap out your actual projector housing so you will still have white light output.

Trey's (asahi) HID look very nice, no yellow whatsoever. I believe he has 4300K Phillips.

are you KIDDING me? LOL, the 4300K Philips kit actually appears the color of a stock bulb , i'm surprised the picture above shows a white output. Maybe some appear like that? The ones i've seen in person appear the color of a stock bulb. I know it looks white right when you turn it on, but within 30 sec., it transfers to yellowish-white. Bottom line, 6000k+ is NOT a ' little ' better than halogen, it is MUCH better. You will NEVER get the same look with a ' Piaa ' plasma bulb.
You are quite wrong about that. The 4300 k bulb is less blue than the 6000k bulbs, but the light on the ground is white, unlike the 6000k bulbs which put down a white/purple light on the ground. Look at any of the pictures and you will see the purplish reflection off the ground.

The pic above was taken with the white balance off on my camera, so the camera would not be correcting for the colour. My bulbs are also about two years old and the light gets bluer as the bulbs age due to the electrodes wearing away, and the position of the arc changing.

The 4300K bulbs put out the most light on the ground, the bulbs are rated at 3200 lumens while the 6000k bulbs are rated at 2600. You decide which ones to get. The 6000k is less light than the 4300, but Still a lot better than halogen

I did not care too much about the colour, just the light output

I clearly stated the ONES I saw in person appeared yellowish-white. I did not say the ones on the top were going to appear that way.

BTW, if you are telling me that the 6000K are ONLY looks and you don't want ' looks' , then maybe you should get 4 sets of fog lights with PIAA bulbs, since they look the same and all.

Here are 2 pics of the Philips 6000K kit that was on my car.

My light pattern on the ground and to the sides is white, not blue like a S2000. But if you approach my car from the opposite direction it's very obvious that they are HIDs with that bluish halo around it.

People are either too niave to notice, or they can't believe that an Integra would have HIDs.

Ok... The philips 4300k is white but not that bright. We did a comparison test against the HID Plus kit 7500k kit vc. Philips 4300k. THe cars were in 300zxtt and the guy with the philips kit, his car was newer, meaning his lens were actually cleaner/clearer than my friends. At night, the 7500k is a lot brighter. The owner of the 4300k was kinda bumed, and actually wanted to get a set from us. True story. 7500k is actually white/blue..not purple, 9000k is purple. It's a true plug in play kit and the ballasts are Hella, made in Germany. I currently have them and they look great at night. A bit blueish, but only the reflector and from a distance. the ground is really white. I was selling the kits, new and 450 plus shipping a while back. Actually my friend sells them, wholesaler. sorry for the long post.

Look I'm just posting some information that could be useful to someone. Have you actually compared you hid's to other kits? We did. True 4300k is white, and 7300k is blue and I have heard that 4300k is ideal but we did do a test and that is actually what happened. It was at a Z meet in s.cali. I'm just stating what I know ok, so don't flame k?

4300K HID had 3200 lumens.. the higher the color temp, the less lumens.. meaning 7500K is not brighter, and is a total waste of money.

LOL, have you ever compared the 4300K, 7500K, and 9000K side by side? I did.
My other friend has a 4300K on his Z and when we compared side by side my 7500K was alot brighter.
You need to think before you say something- It's not that hard.
Here are some pics of my friend's cars with various HID kit.
9000K kit(purple)

My car and my friend's 7500K(blueish color)

ha.. people think higher kelvin means brighter light.. yeah right.. next time.. drive your friends cars on a dark road..the 4300K car will be the best.. the colored ugly lights will only be bright right where the beam hits and the spread is tinted a darker color than white, so you will have less visibility... 6000K+ = no good

LOL, what part of my post didn't you understand? We ACTUALLY compared it SIDE BY SIDE, and we both agreed that mine was brighter. "the colored ugly lights"? LMFAO since when did HID kits became ugly?? Look I'm not trying to flame but maybe you need to turn off your computer and get some fresh air.

It's too early to jump to conclusions yet. The pictures above are taken directly from the front and some are close ups of the headlights itself..sure they look cool but what good is that gonna do?

If you want to compare various HID's, you should take pictures from the inside from the driver's side. THAT's what really matters, not how it looks from the outside. There's no big difference between real HID's and PIAA ultra duper super clear pure extreme white bulbs besides the reflection on the ground when the pictures are taken directly from the front.

Also comparing HID's on different car's is not really a good idea. Cars have projectors or deflectors(?), and some headlights are positioned higher than others....etc.
If you wanted to do a real accurate comparison, it should be done with same cars...like 4300k HID integra vs 7500k integra at the same time side by side.

I am not trying to flame anyone here.

like i said.. yes it will be bright.. BUT.. the usable light wont be anywhere near 4300K.. as the 6000K and up spreads out..it dims more and more.. the 4300K doesnt dim as much.. it is bright everywhere..

LMFAO since when did HID kits became ugly??
ive seen so many of these 6000, 8000, 7500, 9000, 1200000 kits in person..and most of them are either a fakey pinkish violet or a super bright blue.. they just look ugly IMO.. especially on the RSX..there are like 4 people in my city with these 8000K kits on their RSX's and the funny thing is..the light output is actually dimmer than it is with stock halogens on those cars.. spend $500+ to downgrade the car..
