Default Persistent headlight problem

I've got a fogged over left headlight on my GSR. I've tried holding a hairdryer to the light assembly until all the condensation was gone, and then keeping the hood open and the lights unplugged overnight (with the car in the garage). The fog came back the next time I eft it parked outside overnight in the cold. I can't see any cracks in my light, it looks crystal clear. I also have the 9005 conversion on my lights, and I've heard that other people believe this is a possible cause of their lights fogging up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys, lemme know what you think the problem may be and what you think I should do.

hmm, you might have a micro crack or bad seals, fix the seals, put duct tape around it if you have to, if the condensation comes back you're gonna need new head lights

ok, thanks man. How do I fix the seals? Is that where I remove the headlight assembly from the car, bake the headlights to pull off the lens, and then re-seal it with silicone? I was hoping it wouldn't come down to that, but thanks for the advice.

At least remove the headlight assembly. First you gotta find where its leaking in, then you can decide how radical it'll be to fix. Maybe some silicone caulking to fix the crack. I haven't had mine apart yet, but there's gotta be a vent in there somewhere, too. Don't seal that up.

Is it possible that you've got some splash guards or inner fender liners removed? Water splashing on the vent from your front tires?

That's a good point and I suppose it's a possibility, but nothing happened to or was changed on the car before this happened, except the lightbulbs. And that was still a good month before the lights started to fog over. And are you sure there's a vent? I've never heard that before. But yeah, one of these weekends when it's semi-warm and I get to go home, I'll take out the headlights. But up here at school it's impossible, so I guess I'll be saving this thread's advice for anoter week or 2

Like I said, I've never had to take mine apart. But I know there has to be a vent. Otherwise the air inside the housing would expand with the heat & blow a seal.
