My partial throttle on my gsr is quite annoying. It happens between 3-5k rpm in 3-5th gear. When I put partial throttle, I feel a bit of lag and within a second or 2 it goes back to normal. No CEL's, motor is completely bone stock. And it's had a full tune-up recently, also it has around 50K miles. I assume it could be the throttle cable or something. Any idea's? Help would be appreciated

 

What ECU are you running?

 

Last time I looked it said P72. But on the ECU, there was a marker written "92-95 automatic ecu". But it clearly said P72, hmmm?? But I do know the car was originally an automatic, then converted to manual with the gsr swap. Btw this is a 96 EJ6 hatchback.

FUel Filter, mayb fuel system. Sounds like that or a Air to Fuel ratio problem, im guessin thats where Dogginator was headed with his question.

 

Good to know, I'll get the fuel filter changed. The fuel system was cleaned during the tune-up. Maybe I should try another ECU? like another P72?...hmm
