i picked up a front bumper for my 97 integra and its that unpainted plastic black bumper. just wondering would i need to primer it then paint it? or just paint it over the plastic? because from what i see the current bumper on my car right now has paint over the plastic and it matches pretty good..
i already painted over the plastic and it looks crappy..anything i can do to fix it?

take it to a body shop they will charge you like 100 bones , and they will do a good job. to paint a bumper you need spacial paint that gets expensive , if your only going to use it once
Yeah, have a shop do it, the price is usually reasonable, and the outcome will be much better than someone who's inexperienced (I say inexperienced because you are asking about priming, so I assume you haven't done it before)
I got my entire front end (2 fenders, hood, bumper) painted for $500 Milano Red. Came out beautiful. Money well spent.

well ur gonna be even more broke when u mess up that paint job doing it urself, then ur gonna have to pay the paint shop extra to fix ur bad work and repaint it.
plus if ur just go n to primer it urself, most shops wont give u a warranty on the paint

Eh? Well, some of us aren't fortunate enough to have connections like that. 500 was the best price around, and red paint is always more money...

I just bough a '93 Integra, was in a front end accident. It was red but now has white front bumper, fenders and hood. I was wondering what the cheapest way to make it look decent would be??
