I mean if you dont got enough money to go somewhere else i would say do it. I mean some Maaco do great job even with the basic paintjob. Some just got trainies the dont know nothin about paintin a car an maybe its there first time there. i had a few cars painted at different maaco an i gota say some came out like brand new but some had minor errors with the paintjob. Basicaly you gettin what you payin for. maybe good or maybe bad. The engine detailin would make it like new, but why pay for someone to do it, you can always buy all the stuff at autozone an do it at the car wash an save the money.

if you want the paint job to look the best it can on low budget... just do all the sanding yourself and remove all the stuff too.. the all maaco has to do is mask it off and shoot the paint for you.

The only thing you will worry about is runs in the paint and also for that cheap of a price they will probably shoot a single stage of paint and clear combine.

gl with whatever you decide on

You could always learn to do it yourself and rent a booth.
