Default Paint problems

i used some rubbing compound on my car and i think i rubbed to hard..and now i see little marks where i rubbed it at.. so i was wondering whats somethin i can use to get the lthe paint back to normal.. i tried waxing it but now that it has rained i can jus see the marks again..

are they scratch marks? if the are is sounds like you got dirt in the compound. make sure you use one clean rag for compound and the other for buffing. i hope your using a buffer anyways, if the scratches are deep enough you might have to wet sand with some 2000 grit paper

Use a swirl remover/cleaner polish. If you cut too deep with the rubbing compound, there really isn't much you can do besides repaint, if it cut beyond the paint into the primer.

its not into the primer but you can see the diff.. when i waxed it you couldnt even tell they were there

you just need to wet sand the areas with 2k sandpaper and get a buffer

Yup, 2k then 2500, then buff with gradually coarser compounds. Just make sure you dont go through the clear
