p30's in a ls question
i wanted to know can you run p30's or pr3's in a stock b18a/b18b on the stock ecu. i just wanted to know cause i have to change the piston rings and i figured i just put them in now instead of going back and putting them in later. i know you should run cams with pr3's or p30's or it really pointless but i just wanted to know. i can put the cams in a little later and then get it tuned. what do yo think?
p30's and pr3's will bump your compression to 10.9:1 and 10.7:1, respectively, from 9:1. it would be best to get a tune after putting them in to prevent detonation. i normally wouldnt say this, but even a vafc would be better than nothing.

exactly... with the CR increase it would be best to throw on a few more mods if possible or some cams to make use of the compression ratio the most and getting it tuned properly.
Your factory integra ECU is set for the 9:1 CR ratio, so bumping it up a bit would throw off the ecu data as it's set for a lower CR then you'd be running
