Well im having troulbe with my 94 ls it keeps overheating i have done all normal checks i replaced the thermostat bleed the system flushed and refilled but car still keeps over heating it cant be the water pump because sometimes it runs normal temp. anyone have any ideas i was thinking the cap or the radiator it self maybe
Do a compression test. you may have a blown headgasket.
If you got coolant in your oil = blown head.
Got oil in your coolant = blown head.
At autozone they sell this bottle of Blue Devil.
about $50 but it will fill in your blown head. Works great.

i didnt try a compression test yet my grandpa told me to do that i didn't even think about that but i dont have water in the oil or vs versa i was thinking it could be a cracked cylinder wall but then that would leave coolant in the water so im not really sure anymore im just going to run it with no thermostat until i do a rebuild and get everything checked out good
