Overheating problem.
Alright well recently my car has been overheating when i go at slower speeds or am at a complete stop. Once i pick up and start moving again it goes back down to normal. Im guessing that it's because my cooling system is clogged with something and i need a radiator flush to completely clean it out so that my thermostat can open up all the way. Just a guess and if that could be problem, anyone know good places for a radiator flush, what the cost is, and will it clean it thoroughly? thanks guys.

Most likely your thermostat is stuck closed. You'll need to replace the thermostat, about $15-$20 for an OEM one from a dealer. I used a 99-00 Civic Si one in my car, same part, because the Honda dealer was closer.

yea i recently replaced my thermostat, i did a flush today at jiffy lube just before i came back to this so that's taken care of. i think it's worked out well but we'll have to wait and see. thanks for the help.
