Default Overheating problem.

Ok, well me and a few mechs are confused on what is going on here. My fans do not click on, even when heater is all the way up. I just replaced the thermostat and the fan switch that is connected to the thermostat, i drained my coolent and replaced fluid, i squeezed out all the air bubbles. all connections seem to be fine. and after about 10 mins of driving it will overheat, idle is fine, doesnt ever overheat during an idle, and last time i drove, the temp guage would change from normal to high and back down rapibdly towards the end of the driving session, i unpluged the hose that connects to the intake to check and see if my head gasket is gone, i didnt see any white smoke what so ever, so please help me out a little here, give me some insight on what to do or look for. im stumped...

I know it sounds stupid but could you have installed the thermo is the correct position? Are both hoses filled with coolant? Maybe it is in upside down and is not opening properly.

Im sure it is installed properly, i didnt install it, the dealership did, because i was getting body work done also because someone hit my rear bumper slightly and since im good friends with the dealership they went ahead and put my thermostat on for me, so im sure the dealership did it correct, i havent looked to hard, i just replaced the fan swtich that connects to it and i know thats on secure and right.

you said your fans weren't kicking on at all?
sounds like a sensor or loose wires somewhere
are you blowing blue smoke out of the eshuats?

If your headgasket is bad you compression numbers would be lower than normal. Try a test after it is warm but make sure you have coolant in there.
