I was driving down the highway today and I decided to open it up a little bit because it was clear and nice. I shifted down to 4th and gunned it. I hit full boost (15 psi) and took off. I rode it to the top of 4th and let off. Anyhow, I didn't notice that I was reading a little hot untill I stopped at the exit ramp near my house. I looked down and I was about 3/4 on the way to hot. I was like WTF? I wanted to get to my house quick before I overheated, so I started going back and the temp went back down. I stopped in my parking lot and I wanted to let the turbo cool, but then the temp started going back up. I shut it off and I heard a gurgling sound. I popped the hood and the overfill resivour was completely full and hot! Anyhow, I let it cool for about 20 minutes and got back in to see if it would still do it. It did, but it only happens when I'm stopped. What's the deal? What should I do? Should I drain the resivour back down the the MAX line? If the resivour filled up like that, that means I have enough fluid in the Radiator correct? Thanks Ramsey.
check your belts too, if any missing, or torn. if the accessory belt came off that might stop the water pump from working, and moving the rad fluid around.
did you notice any smoke? white smoke is usually rad fluid, and black is oil.
if all else fails, maybe the best thing to do it get it towed to a trusted mechanic, and have them check your cooling system first. don't drive it, you might warp the head!
hope this helps!

Also, look out for the fan clutch while you are at it. I had a similar problem in my 240sx that it would overheat when I was stopped because the fan clutch would not engage to cool the car down.
Sad part is... I didn't realize this until I had replaced all of the thermostat, thermostat housing and all of the hoses... needed it anyways though lol.
