Default Overheating.. Help

i was wondering if anyone had a problem simular to mine.. when driving normally my temperature keeps climbing untill it overheats.. i checked my fans and wired my radiator fan to a switch so it stays on.. but even with the radiator fan on it still is rising to where it was before to start overheating. ive also checked my coolant levels and have filled them back up after everytime it overheats.. anyone have any ideas?

You need to fix that leak because it's letting air into your coolant system. Be sure to remove all the air out of it everytime you refill your coolant. Let the car idle with the radiator cap off and there's also a valve you can open to remove the air.

not on all motors the 92-93 GSR i know for a fact has no bleed screw for the coolant, also just because air is in the system would not cause him to have to refill all the time, there is something else amiss here

It appears that the rad is simply not doing its cooling job at all, the fluid is leaking of not making a full cycle. Check for leaks under the car after it overheats. If you can't see any leaking or if the fluid levels are OK you may want to check the entry point to your engine (thermostat) or the output point (Water Pump).

You know for a fact?? Do you own a 92-93 GSR w/ the B17?

Cause I do, and I know for a fact that there is a bleed screw on the back of the block above the thermostat housing.

-----> to the original question, you're leaking, thermostat is not working, or you're headgasket needs to be replaced. Check for leaks, maybe have a leakdown test done. Do you have a helms manual? you could go use that to try and diagnois the problem.
