Default Over Heating Please Help!

Just got my car out of storage and i just took it for a test drive and the temp gauge went all the way to the H. I had the radiator out for a different project, and i am sure i put it in correctly. oh yeah the fans will not run either, which tells me it;s an electircal problem. i don't know what to do. help a brother out please. thanks

Did you remember to refill the radiator?
Check that coolant level in the radiator.
Make sure all hoses are secure.
Follow the wiring from the fan cack to the ECU.

how was the air bled out and what happened then?

the less information you provide the harder it is to diagnose the problem.

When my fans didnt work I disconnected the fan switch and put a paper clip in the plug to make it run constint that did the trick till I got to look at it in the morning. You should try it to see if they still work

The fans don't usually turn on when you're driving. Only when you're in stop-and-go traffic (with more stop than go ).

Keep an eye on your temperature gauge. Problems that mysteriously disappear may mysteriously reappear. Or perhaps your thermostat freed itself up after being bathed in hot antifreeze a few times.
