Easier said than done. The 51r will do you fine!

RiCeRTeG;

The 51R will do just fine. I've had one in my 95 GS-R sedan for over a year now. I play my stereo with the car turned off. My car also sits for a couple weeks at a time in the garage and I haven't had any problems with it starting.

Just make sure you use the OEM holding brackets in your engine bay to hold down the 51R in place. Mine hasn't move an inch since I installed it, I don't feel you can go wrong with a Opitma Yellow top...

Peace Out

i was forced into the yellow top because my stereo would eat batterys every 6 months. i had to relocate it to the trunk, which was an added security bonus.

i could give you a how-to, but im @ work so maybe later.

let us know whats up when u get that link. I'm having a problem with my system eating my current battery. So I want to replace it with a optima but I want to see how hard it is to relocate it to the back before I decide to get the bigger one or not.

looks sweet, any recommended places to get it for cheap? Every place I look they want 130+ not including shipping. I did see a few people say they found them for around 110 shipped but no link to where

advance discount auto parts can get them for $118.88 w/exchange. should only take about 1 business day to get if they dont have in stock, depending on the store.

I saw a new battery out that is really small that is supposed to put out great power, long lasting, and light weight.
Don't know the name though.

That's what I did, took a few mins to drill some holes, use 4 tall *** 5/8" studs, and two straps of metal over the top.

i'd personally rather just re-locate my battery to the trunk.
they make relativly cheap kits, and it takes about an hour to do. it's VERY easy.
it also helps weight distrobution, if you care about that

I got my yellow top from Advanced too. Wish they made a red top for our cars.
