Is this ok to remove??
I have a question.probably a dumb one,but can you remove the big support brace/bar directly under the headers on a 91 integra?I dont know what it is called..
i see hatchbacks and have seen a few integras with it removed, just wondering if it takes something special to do it..
Its the big wide bar that has two skinnier bars that hook to the suspension on the wheel..
i can go take a picture if you dont know what im talking about.
Thanks in advance!

You will lose stability but if you have after market front upper and lower braces I don't see it hurting. Pretty sure you have to remove it to run a lower brace but I could be wrong
i was wondering because of fitment issues i was having with my turbo's downpipe..plus it just looks cleaner without it,and i like the spacious look.
but looks like i will just keep it there..
thanks for the info guys!

It bolts to the bottom of radiator support to the underbody of vehicle right in front of the cat.

jk.
No that's the radiator support the one I thought you ment is the one bolted to center of the radiator support goin back to three bolt holes in the body. The one I thought may be needed for stability or oil pan protection.

OIC, was hard to see on the vid.
Is there a "traction bar" that replaces that, I may be interested myself, I have a hard time hooking up when I am spraying.
Is there a link to the traction bar?" 94

a traction bar doesn't increase traction as the name would say. it helps the control arm from rocking causing wheel hop.
When I autocross and I come out of a corner, I get on the throttle, a little, untill it hit my "turnout" point then I go to WOT and start spraying, sometimes that will produce wheel hop, [Yokahama O32Rs] resulting in loss of traction.
If I can prevent that I can shave .5 sec. or more off my times, and in Solo 2 that would be huge. 94
Juiced:That looks like the one you need. Not sure how much they usually go for, but I imagine you could find a cheaper solution. I'm just starting to get into the DC's been an EF guy for years now.
I believe that you lose quite a bit of traction under wheel hop, so kyden, your statement is counter active.
fcm: I haven't had the chance to go to any autocross events yet(I time trial), but my EF doesn't wheel hop out of tight corners. It has an Innovative mount front traction bar. I used to have a CRX that did exactly what your talking about, as far as accelerating out of a corner. It had the stock front crossmember.
