Still cannot figure why it wouldnt start. The motor is out now and is consequently in many pieces. Im having the head P&P'd cleaned, crack checked etc. The flywheel was chewed pretty bad and the starter is old. Maybe cause for not to start? There was a significant amount of grinding I could hear when trying to start it up. Any ideas of what would cause it not to start if given the motor/starter is good with fresh gas/plugs. Timing is right, wires looked good.
