Which oil pump to use?
The motor is a b18c1, not sure of the year...but I believe it is an obd1 motor. No crank or knock sensor. My question is, will the 96-01 pump (15100-P72-A01 ) work on the motor? I think I read that I may have to dremel out the plastic timing cover, but that's it. I just wanna make sure I don't get a pump that wont work, if the motor is a different year....
thanks

it should work just fine. and yes you will probably have to mod the bottom part of the plastic covering to fit. i'm running a 99 gsr water and oil pump on my 94 ls btw.
so you had to change the timing belt, but mine will be fine. I'll probably go with that one, I think it has provisions for the crank sensor, but I guess it doesnt hurt to not use it, correct?

yes i had to change the timing belt on mine because of the water pump change. and yes mine came with a crank sensor too but i didn't use it...didn't have a plug for it.
