Sup guys. Lately I have noticed that on start up, my oil light will come up and a second later disappear. However, past few days the light will dim very lightly and then get a bit brighter and repeat the process. I checked the oil and it's fine. I have searched and I have read everything from oil pump to loose connection. Any inputs?

I also noticed a bit of oil seeping through my exhaust ports? Right above it? Not sure how to describe it. I have a picture.

Any help is appreciate.

 

I should add it does this randomly! This morning on my way to work, the light was dimming. It's never fully bright only when I first start the car and then it goes away immediately. As of right now, no light haha.

 

Check the lead from the oil pressure switch, make sure it is not shorting out to anything, or just unplug it, if light does not come on, replace the OPS.

Sorry don't know what to tell you about the oil seeping. 94

 

Okay cool. Isn't it located behind the block? Right above the oil filter?

 

a little lower and the left of the oil filter ( Looking at the back of the block) it has a single wire going to it that you just pull off.
