Default oil burning problem

SO im here again searching for more help n greater minds than mine haha.

my poor man type r build finished about 2 months ago. (all stock p72 rods n pistons. b16 head with all new valve seals n re seated valves. )

i drove it for 110 miles yesterday n burnt 1 quart of oil. i turn the car on let it run for about 20 minutes shyt it off remove the plugs n with a light i look into the cylinder n there is oil on top of the cylinder . not filled but noticeable.

once again i run into a problem n im dumbfounded . new seals new rings honed blocked new HG n dowel pins, valves re seated. arp head studs n this thing is burning oil. the only thing i think of is valve guides but there wasnt any play on the valves when i tried to check em.

almost forgot compression test result was 255 on all cylinders

IM CLUELESS at this point any suggestion comments will b greatly appreciated HT.

The oil can only come from one place: Underneath the piston.

Some common reasons for this:
Rings installed upside down,
missing or damaged intake valve-guide oil-seals (I know, but check anyway),
ring gaps lined-up instead of staggered,
bore not round (or damaged on assembly),
rings not round (or damaged on assembly),
bore surface not correct (or damaged on assembly),
excessive bore/piston clearance,
excessive ring-groove clearance.

Time for a teardown.
