I used one once. No problems at all and it was as quiet as a high flow cat

well it says how the gases that go through the exhaust are turned into something else. the text pipe doesnt do that at all.

A catalytic converter consists of an insulated chamber containing pellets of catalyst through which the exhaust gases are passed. Hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide from the exhaust are converted to water vapor and carbon dioxide. It can increase air flow and performance.

that part. well whatever i already ordered it...do you think it will make the CEL go off or should i just pull the bulb

Get an o2 simulator if you want to run a straight pipe without a CEL.

The first o2 sensor is what actually helps to control how much fuel is put in. The 2nd one is just there to make sure that the cat is working, and does not affect gas milage at all. It will give you a CEL thinking that your cat isn't working (which it obviously won't be with a straight pipe), but if you trick it into thinking the exhaust is fine then the CEL will go away without affecting milage.

doesn't look like a cat. looks like a test pipe. looks like you can bolt the stock cat heat shield around it thats why its a "high flow cat" when it's a test pipe.
