Hey folks i got a 91 teg w/b20. The dizzy is starting to fry so i jumd on ebay & i keep seeing obdo to obd1 dizzy wire harness, is there a benefit to this like reliability by running a obd1 dizzy instead of a obd0 dizzy & if you did does this also mean you have to switch to obd1 ecu?

 

Yes to run the obd1 distributor youll need to run an OBD1 ECU

 

RyWire and similar companies sell full conversion kits to go to OBD1. You'll have a lot more tuning capability. You'll probably see an improvement in power and drivability since you're swapped.

 

Ok well let me ask you this then, from the pictures of the harness it looks as though the harness plugs right in to the ecu & all the wiring is for the distributor....correct?
