Can i run a obd2a motor with a ob2b ecu without throwing any codes? If not, does anyone know what i have to convert on the motor to run a obd2b ecu?

really? but I'm also concerned about the whole obd2a/obd2b situation. I mean i know with any obd2 they plug in wires some where under the dash to smog the car. I'm sure if all my sensors are working and i have a catalytic converter on it should pass smog.

edit: and obviously exhaust system being stock or carb legal parts under the hood.

if you make outside engine bay look stock, they dont kno what inside ur motor.it should pass, the only problem i had was i had a bad cat.

i ran it with the stock cat, so when they put the new one on i pass with flyin colors, exhaust system doesnt matter as long it a cat back exhaust system , aftermarket exhaust doesnt effects the smog testing

if i was you , i would put those cams in after you pass smog, when you run those cams you have to have a chipp ecu to run those cams, it not goin to work with stock ecu
