Default OBD2 to OBD1

Hey all. I hear a lot about converting from OBD2 to OBD1. I have a '99 LS, and my understanding it is OBD2A, if that is true. What is the advantaget to coverting to OBD1? If you can help clear this out for me, it would be great. Thanks in advance.

the search option is your friend

96-98 civics/96-99 integras: obd2A
99-01 civics/00-01 integras: obd2B

People tend to go with an obd1 ecu due to the fact that its tuning friendly!

alot less codes to worry about and then you can ditch the cattalytic converter and the second o2 sensor. Theres alot of advantages like when you get a cel you just turn the key off and on and the cel is gonne. obd2 you cant pump gas with the car on, then you'll get a cel.

I did a search, and came across eliminating one of my o2 sensors. Wich it seems to be the one on the cat. Correct?
