I have a 95 gsr throwing a code. I was told it was a VTEC solenoid code by the previous owner. He isn't extremely mechanically inclined but he was told by someone more knowledgeable than he. I'm only somewhat familiar with OBD1, and I'd like to check and clear the codes the proper way. I know there's a code, long blinks equal ten and quick blinks equal one. add em up. But I don't know what the numbers correspond to. Where do I find this info, and what is the best way to get my stock 95 gsr to display the codes? All and any information is appreciated.

undo the negative battery terminal for a few mins or pull the 15A fuse from the engine bay fuse box.

 

thanks for the advice, the code was 21 and 22. followed the wiring, someone, somewhere along the line cut the wires to never reconnect them again. after wiring it my self check engine light went off and vtec now works!
