i just swapped a 92 b18a1 into a 91 chassis and i obviously had to put he 91 dizzy back on cuz im running the 91 harness...only problem is the o2 sensor that the 91 had was a single wire one so i need to convert it to a four wire...supposedly you can do it without buying a conversion kit. anyone know how? any help would be much appreciated.

 

why do you need to convert it to a 4 wire? its a 92 motor, that should use a 1 wire sensor, just like the 91.

 

nope...the 92-93 is obd1 and the 90-91 is obd0...why they decided to change mid generation beats the **** out of me

 

oh and i have 92-93 Spoon headers.

you can't convert it to a 4 wire with the OBD0 ECU, you'll need to get a bung welded on one of the runners of your header where the factory one is located for the correct readings and use the one wire O2, or either put your factory manifold back on there
