Default O Ringing!?!?

ok.. everyone said i should get oring for my block because of high compression i want to run.. i am assuming o rings are with the head gasket but i dont know where? .. what exactly do they do -
how much would it cost to get done - could i do it myself?
will it make that much of a difference?

o rings for your block because of high compression? huh? im confused.

if you want to run high compression.. im guessing that youre doing an all motor setup. i assume they might have told you to get rods, pistons, and rings.

O-ring 's are machined into the top of the deck or arround each cylinder to provide a better seal between the block and head gasket. usually it's copper wire that is inserted into the machined grove.

depending on your setup, it might not even be necessary for you to have the work done.
