Sounds pretty good to me. Approximately 285 ponies are required to move that car through the 1320 that fast. (12.75 that is)

Timone what does your car pull in the quarter mile.. Do you like those crower cams.. I was tossed between them and the skunks.. I have a friend here who has them and i think he got 2 more horse at the wheels than i did, with mine.. My car runs 14.3 na..

i think those times are very good considering the full interior and all.
if on street tires then even better.

my Civic's been down alot this summer: couldn't get the parts i needed, bad N2O solenoids, lady hits my car and other things too. i've been wanting to take it to the track and see what it runs, maybe next weekend now that the alignment is done.

i have similar setup in my 5th Gen. Civic and i'm hoping for good 12's with 555R's.

later

I love the Crower's. I had ordered the 63402s, and the fella sold them and sent me the 63403s(intentionally methinks). When I called Crower, a very pleasant and knowledgable chap assured me that they'd be better in every way than the 63402s and the lack of drivablity is blown way out of proportion. He's right, the idle is fine, unless I get really agressive on the cam gears, then it's a little rough, but the rewards far outweigh this IMO. Which ones does your friend have?

awesome times, but i wouldn't get too attached to your stock rods if you plan on doing this very often...

Like the wise man said. Change your rods to quality aftermarket if you haven't already, or you'll be sorry sooner or later. Probably sooner if you keeping squeezing a 100 shot.

thats all bulshit, if you know what your doing you should be fine for a while , i know someone spraying 125 shot on a stock block gsr and he sprays alot, and i mean alot. for the past few years and not a single problem .

to start i ran this time on 22x8x15 mt drags.. They hooked up real good and i think i could have ran better but i was bracket racing and just trying to keep it consistant.. I ran 12.75,12.76,and 12.79 all in a row.. Unfortunately i red lit on my fourth pass so i just coasted down the track.. But im pretty positive i could have hit 12.5 with an aggressive launch... No dought in my mind...I also have a question for you guys.. Do you think i should replace my fuel pump to stick with the 100 shot.. I know everyone says to replace the rods but i think if you drive right and have the right fuel you can get away with it.. I only do it at the track and i use 94 octane with nos octane booster.. works great!!!! And what pump should i use.. In tank or boosta pump.. Your thoughts are appreciated.. Thanks Anthony

i've heard of quite a few people running 100-125 shot on a stock B18 block.
it will take it's toll, but if the timing and fuel is there then it'll last a while unless abused. so motors crap out with a 75 shot and others run strong with 100+ shot bone stock.

enjoy it and be careful!
