converting my obd0 integra to ob1, got my p28, conversion harness and everything, oh and the 4 wire o2. Now i needa dizzy. My boy has a brand new from acura ls dizzy that i want to get, i heard u cant use a nonvtec distributor on a vtechead. (lsvtec), but then a bunch of my friends including two tuners said i could use the nonvtec dizzy on a vtec head , just can only use the top bolt hole and retard it? And then go back with a timing light what yall think?

 

You have to chop off the leg closest to the vtec solenoid,
it Can be used, but I would get a vtec distributor when possible.

thats what i did. i'm using a ls dizzy on a vtec head.. had to chop off one of the legs though. been running on this for months now without a oil leak
